Daniel Wayne Yarborough, born May 24, 1934 in Bogalusa, Louisiana to Wayne and 
Hebe Yarborough, died on March 9 after a courageous battle with cancer. 

After graduating from LSU with a degree in petroleum engineering, Danny spent 
his career with Gulf Oil and Chevron. 
He was a long time member of First Baptist Church, Slidell, where he served as 
deacon and choir member. 

Danny was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Marilyn Faye Yarborough 
and his sister, Gloria Hyde. 

He is survived by his daughter Allyson Williams and husband Jeff, his daughter 
Dana Pratt and husband Jim, his son Chris Yarborough and wife Dana, and 
grandchildren Michelle Pratt, Scott Pratt, Sara Yarborough, and Brandon 
Yarborough. 
He also leaves behind three nieces and their families. 

To those who knew him, Danny set an example as a man who quietly served God and 
served his family.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services 
at First Baptist Church of Slidell, 4141 Pontchatrain Drive, on Wednesday, 
March 14, 2011 at 11:00 A.M.

Interment in Lumberton City Cemetery, Lumberton, MS.

Visitation at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd., West, on Tuesday evening 
from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
