Beloved wife of Nicholas M. Cognevich, Sr. Loving mother of Nicholas M. Cognevich, Jr., Debra C. Singer and Gina C. Goetzie. Daughter of the late Catherine Evasovich Clerc and Rene’ F. Clerc, Jr. Sister of Clare C. Hingle, Jane C. Mayo, Patricia C. Jackson, Natalie Clerc, Elise C. Gipson, John S. Clerc and the late Bro. Rene’ Clerc F.S.C. Also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Cognevich was born in New Orleans and resided in Covington where she was a parishioner and Eucharistic Minister at St. Peter Catholic Church. The family would like to especially thank the staff and residents at Emeritus of Mandeville for their care and friendship. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 125 E. 19th Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 1:00 PM with visitation at church from 11:00 AM until Mass time. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Mrs. Cognevich can be made to the Covington Food Bank. ===================
