A native and longtime resident of New Orleans, she was born Jan. 24, 1917, and spent her youth years growing up in Covington. She was a longtime employee of Godchaux’s Canal Street and later in retirement years, a volunteer of the New Orleans Museum of Art and New Orleans voting polls. She is survived by her only daughter, Susan Radosta Schwankhart of Picayune, Miss.; granddaughter, Gina R. Piazza and husband Michael of Lacombe and four great-grandsons, Andrew, Brad, Kyle and Chase; a stepdaughter, Noel Livaudais and husband Jay of Georgetown, Texas; grandchildren; Frank and Michelle and great-grandson, Christopher. The family would sincerely like to thank the staff at the Lacombe Nursing Home and Harmony Hospice for their loving care. Family and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at 10 a.m. today at Church of Faith, 61305 Airport Road, Slidell. Interment will follow at Hope Mausoleum Cemetery. Boyd- Brooks Funeral Service was in charge of the arrangements. ===================
