Loyd “Pete” M. Galloway passed away on Monday, April 30, 2012.

Beloved husband of Willie Mae Keating. Father of Ginny Galloway Durr (Hank), 
Lynn Galloway Sharp (Donald) and Greg Galloway (Lorraine). Brother of the late 
Linda Fussell. Foster brother of Sky Norheim. Also survived by 6 grandchildren 
and 6 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by one granddaughter.

He was a retired Field Engineer with the State of Louisiana and later served as 
a consultant with several road construction companies. He was a longtime Deacon 
at New Zion. A member of Mill Brook Hunting Club. Age 75 years. A native and 
lifelong resident of Covington, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at 
New Zion Baptist Church, 17387 New Zion Baptist Church Rd., Covington, LA 70435 
on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 2:00 PM. Visitation, AT THE CHURCH, from 11:00 AM 
until service time. 
Interment in New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to the church building 
fund.
