JOHNSTON

Wanda Beverly Johnston, 78, passed away April 13, 2012, at her home in Kenner 
with her two sons, Jimmy and Ricky at her side. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Schwall; mother Beatrice 
Cummings; husband, Bill Johnston; daughter, Mancy Marie Allen and 
granddaughter, Tonya Gugino. 

She is survived by one daughter, Beverly Gugino; three sons, Ronald “Bubba” 
Allen, Charles “Ricky” Allen and Harold “Jimmy” Allen; 16 grandchildren and 
great-grandchildren. 

She was born in New Orleans Aug. 1, 1933.

A memorial Mass was held yesterday at St. Margaret Mary Church in Slidell.
