JESSIE TRAHAN LAURIE, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 
at her home in Slidell, LA.

Beloved wife of Lawrence J. Laurie for the past 54 years.
Mother of Shellie Laurie Gorecki and husband Donald, Karen Laurie Dufrene-
McCutcheon and husband Marty, Lisa Laurie Henriquez and husband Jorge and the 
late Keith Michael Laurie, husband of Janet.
Also survived by her sister-in-law Patricia Trahan; 8 grandchildren, Amanda, 
Corey, Michelle, Lauren, Ryan, Alexis, Adam and Rachelle and 4 great 
grandchildren, Gavin, Mason, Ethan and Elijah.

Age 82 years; a native of Algiers and a resident of Slidell since 1973. Mrs. 
Laurie was a retired Executive Secretary for Domino Sugar Refinerary.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial mass at 
St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1050 Robert Blvd., Slidell, LA on Saturday, 
April 21, 2012 at 11:00am. Visitation will be held at church from 9:00am until 
11:00am. 
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. 

Inlieu of flowers, please consider a donation in honor of Mrs.Laurie to her 
granddaughter Michelle Dufrene in her fight against Crohn’s and Colitis Disease
