Elizabeth Ann “Sissy” McAlister, 71, entered peacefully into heaven Monday, 
April 16, 2012, surrounded by her loving family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Vernie Lee McAlister and William 
Mitchell McAlister. She was the sister of Mitchel Lee McAlister (Georgianna) 
and Margaret Nell DuBose. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, David and 
Emily Freese and Dylan and Karli DuBose.

She retired from Charity Hospital, where she worked as a clerk for numerous 
years.

The funeral service was held yesterday Garden of Memories in Metairie. 

Garden of Memories Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
