Rita Schlumbrecht Selle passed away on Good Friday, April 6, 2012.

She was born on July 25, 1925 to the late William Schlumbrecht and Bertha Campo 
Schlumbrecht. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert I. Selle and her son, Jim 
Warren Selle. 

She is survived by her granddaughter, Jessica Selle Crasto, whom she raised, and 
her husband Chris. She is also survived by her great-granddaughters, Anna Elise 
and Adele Madeline Crasto.

She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She loved children, traveling and 
spending time with her family, especially her two "little dolls" (Anna and 
Adele). Her strong and caring spirit will always live in our hearts.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial Mass on 
Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 
11345 St. John Church Road, Folsom, LA 70437. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM 
at the Church, with a memorial tribute and reception following Mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research 
Hospital
