Katie McLelland Cantrelle, born October 14, 1980, beloved daughter of Carey 
Thomas Cantrelle and Jennifer McWilliams Cantrelle of Mandeville, LA, lost her 
valiant seven month fight with cancer on Tuesday morning, May 1, 2012.

She is survived by the light of her life, her son Logan James Lindheim of 
Mandeville, her brother and wife Cord and Ragan Cantrelle of Mandeville, her 
brother and wife Cameron and Shannon Cantrelle of Madisonville, and her nephews 
Cooper, Camden and Andrus Mac Cantrelle. She is the granddaughter of Tom and 
Mollie Cantrelle of Houma, Louisiana and the late Kent and Nonie McWilliams of 
Covington, Louisiana. She is also survived by a large and wonderful family of 
aunts and uncles; Chris Cantrelle of Houma, LA, Penny and Reid Doster of 
Covington, LA, Kenny and Kristi McWilliams of Madisonville,LA, Paul McWilliams 
of Metairie, LA, Becky and Steve Giveans of Montgomery, TX, and a host of 
cousins on the Northshore.

Her tenacity and humor through her illness served as an inspiration to all. We 
will miss you, dear precious Katie Mac, but we know you are running into the 
open arms of your Savior, Jesus Christ, and your beloved Grammy, Pops, Uncle 
Pat McWilliams and Memere.

Funeral services will be at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, 
Covington, LA on Thursday, May 3, 2012. Visitation will be open for friends of 
the family beginning at 4:30 with a service at 5:30 PM. 

Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society,
