Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/sttammany/obits/dateobits/2012/st1205.htm and click to view list of photos. ========== Rodney Don DePriest was born Oct. 17, 1963, and passed away at 9:15 p.m. May 5, 2012, at AMG Specialty Hospital in Slidell. He was a member of Old Zion Hill Baptist Church and attended Albany High School and LSU, where he received an associate degree in criminal justice. He graduated from the police academy and worked as an agent for the Louisiana Department of Alcohol and Tobacco, under the Department of Revenue. He leaves behind his parents, Philip and Janis Hess DePriest; sister, Donna Hoover; brother, Jeffery DePriest, as well as, his nieces Janice Renee DePriest and Jennifer Terral Guillory and nephew, Nicholas DePriest. He is also survived by his great-niece, Lauren Guillory; great-nephews, Landon Guillory and Konnor Weiss; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, George and Martha Stewart Hess; paternal grandparents, Dewey and Virginia Albin DePriest; uncle, Valmond Hess and aunt Mary Ann Hess and their infant daughter, Deanna Hess; uncle, Warren Wilder; and cousins, Larry DePriest, Jerry DePriest and Bruce Kinchen. Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral service at 10 a.m. today at Old Zion Hill Baptist Church, north of Albany, with visitation from 8-10 a.m. The Rev. Charles Reitz will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Joe Wiggins. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in honor of Rodney to the American Diabetes Association, ===================
