Hall, born Feb. 13, 1919, to the late James and Isabella Crawford Square, died April 24, 2012. She was a lifelong resident of Slidell and a member of Starlight Missionary Baptist Church, which she attended faithfully until her health failed. She was educated in the St. Tammany Parish School System. She was the oldest of 11 children, and when her mother died she had to quit school to rear her brothers and sisters. She met and married the late Russell H. Hall on June 8, 1939. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter Laura Elaine Claude; grandsons Barry and Brian Hall; brothers Charles, Paul and Freddie Square; and sisters Martha Cade, Lillie Jones, Bertha Earl, Vivian Williams and Ellarose Claude. She is survived by two sisters, Isabella Cousin (Edwin) and Margie Marshall of Slidell; children, Margie Vaultz, Louis Hall (Rosie Lee), Edward Hall, Donald Hall, Audrey McClain (Roderick), Jerome Hall and Marvin Hall (Karen), all of Slidell, and Kenneth Hall (Tanny) of White Sands, Miss.; 34 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and 31 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation is Saturday, May 5, 2012, from 9-11 a.m. at Starlight Missionary Baptist Church, with religious services at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Harrison, Jackson, Square Cemetery. Doyle’s Funeral Home, Slidell, in charge of arrangements. ===================
