Martha "Sedonia" Jordan passed away on Friday, May 25, 2012. She was retired 
from Southeast Louisiana Hospital after 23 years of service.

She was the daughter of the late Ivory Jordan Sr. and Mary Ducre Jordan. She 
was preceded in death by three brothers: Sylvester, Fritz and Arthur Sr.; three 
sisters: Melvina, Eva and Catherine; one grandson, Lance Charles Jordan, two 
nephews, Gregory Jordan and Ivory Jordan III; and her longtime companion, John 
D. Thomas.

She was the beloved mother of Wilmer and Lawrence Jordan and sister of Ivory 
Jordan Jr., Delores Jordan Archie and Earline Jordan Parker. She is also 
survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, 
nephews and other family that loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Doyle's 
Funeral Home at 2430 4th St., Slidell, on Friday, June 1, 2012, at 11 a.m. 
Interment will follow at Slidell Memorial Cemetery.
