He was a retired sheet metal mechanic with Spiral Metals and was a veteran serving in the United States Coast Guard. Lane is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lerlean Walker Lane; four children, Charles D. and Michael E. Lane, Sharon Sigrest and Linda Fullen; two brothers, Andrew and Victor Lane; and a sister, Norma Sharp. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Marie Lane, and two sisters, Carmelite Williams and Gladys Holliday. Funeral services will be held today at 11 a.m. at D. T. Williams Funeral Home, 67525 Louisiana Highway 41, Pearl River, with visitation from 10 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Evans Creek Cemetery, Pearl River. Bro.
