He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Sharon Eckenstaler Manicke. He was the loving father of two children, son Curtis and his wife, Melissa, and daughter Andrea Quave and her husband, Robert Jr. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Caitlin and Nathan Manicke and Emily Quave. He was the son of Lois Manicke and the late Paul Manicke; brother to Lynn Brasser and husband Wayne, Kathleen Whettam and husband Paulie, and brothers- in-law, John Eckenstaler and his wife, Tammy, and Jeff Eckenstaler and his wife, Donna. He is also survived by son-in-law George and wife Corinne Eckenstaler and a host of nieces and nephews. He was a machinist at Martin-Marietta for years before becoming a self-employed cabinet maker. He was a native of Wisconsin and a resident of Pearl River. He enjoyed fishing, tailgating at the LSU games and watching the Saints and Packers. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation today from 6-8 p,m, at the chapel of D.T. Williams Funeral Home 67525 Louisiana Highway 41, Pearl River. Visitation will also be held on Thursday, May 17, 2012, from 11 a.m. until service time. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. at D.T. Williams Funeral Home. ===================
