Overton

Alfreda Overton, 52, a native and resident of Covington, died Wednesday, May 
16, 2012.

She is survived by three daughters, Moranda Jackson, Kizzy Laurent and Cedrika 
Chatman; three sons, Cedrick Laurant, Alvin Laurant and Clarence Overton III; 
five sisters, Sedonia Casnave, Camille Brown, Annette Laurant, Linda Laurant 
and Eloise Martin; five brothers, Robert Laurant, Ricky Laurant, Calvin 
Laurant, Elton Laurant and Freddie Laurant Jr.; three grandchildren; and one 
great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, two sisters and two brothers.

Visitation is Saturday, May 26, 2012, from 9-11 a.m. at Rosehill Baptist 
Church, 20105 Arthur Road, Covington. The funeral service is at 11 a.m. 
Interment will follow in Wilson Cemetery, Covington.

Richardson Funeral Home of St. Tammany is in charge of arrangements.
