He was born March 17, 1932 in Hannibal, MO to the late Willard A. and Carolyn Zimmerman Rupp and has been a resident of Covington since 1958. The beloved husband of Linda Knapp Rupp, he is survived by four daughters: Leesa R. Rupp, Teresa M. Rupp, Terri Ott Viola (Dale) and Angela Rupp Harris (David); two sons, Clifford “Dave” Ott III (Fayla) and Patrick A. Rupp (Michelle); 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Willard “Jake” Rupp and sons-in-law, Joseph O. Manuel, Jr. and Ed Jenkins. Pat lived a very full life. He was a Pilot for Delta Airlines for 35 years and a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Covington. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he proudly and gently loved God, his family, friends, life and Country. Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington took place following a private funeral service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home.
