Captain Robert J. “Pat” Rupp passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012 at his home in 
Covington, LA. He was born March 17, 1932 in Hannibal, MO to the late Willard 
A. and Carolyn Zimmerman Rupp and has been a resident of Covington since 1958.

The beloved husband of Linda Knapp Rupp, he is survived by four daughters: 
Leesa R. Rupp, Teresa M. Rupp, Terri Ott Viola (Dale) and Angela Rupp Harris 
(David); two sons, Clifford “Dave” Ott III (Fayla) and Patrick A. Rupp 
(Michelle); 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his brother, Willard “Jake” Rupp and sons-in-law, 
Joseph O. Manuel, Jr. and Ed Jenkins.

Pat lived a very full life. He was a Pilot for Delta Airlines for 35 years and 
a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Covington. A veteran of the U.S. 
Army, he proudly and gently loved God, his family, friends, life and Country.

Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington took place following a 
private funeral service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home.
