Henry Alfred "Toot" Simmons Jr. 55, passed away on Thursday, May 24,2012.

He was the beloved son of the late Henry Simmons Sr. and the late Ethel Clark
Simmons.

He is survived by three brothers, David and Terry Simmons and Carlos
Ginn; seven nieces, Nina Simmons, Tamecia Carriere, Tyesha McDaniels, Rhonda
Goff, Alana Robinson, Melissa Robinson and Cheryl Ziegler; five nephews, David
Simmons Jr., Bryan Simmons, Jeff Pichon, Travon Ginn and Joseph Robinson Jr.;
and many other loving relatives.

He volunteered with Mount Olive A.M.E. Feeding Program for many years and
worked with Slidell Youth Football Association for several years.

'Toot" will be remembered by all who knew him for the love he had for life. He 
had a big heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Mt. Olive A.M.E.
Church, 2457 Second St., on Saturday, June 2,2012, from 9-11 a.m. The

Homecoming Celebration will begin at 1l a.m.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hambrick's Family Mortuary of 
Gonzales. Interment at Slidell Memorial Cemetery on Daney Street.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Mount Olive Feeding Ministry.
