SMITH, DARLENE "BEETSIE" 
October 20, 1948  - May 31, 2012

Darlene "Beetsie" Smith passed away on May 31, 2012 at her home in Abita 
Springs, LA. 

Born in New Orleans, LA and a lifelong resident of Abita Springs. 

Beetsie was preceded in death by her husband Andre Smith. 
She is the devoted Mother of Andrea Smith Lampo and her husband John. 
Beetsie also leaves behind Joe Collette, a longtime companion and fiancée of 13 
years. 

Daughter of the late John L. and Carmen Puckett Dunlap. Sister of Donna 
Cleland. Step-sister of LuAnn Parks (Billy) and Jimmy E. Cain, Jr. (Betty). 
Loving Grandmother of two beautiful grandsons, Brandon and Mason. Aunt of Chris 
Cleland, Ann Booth and Billy Parks, III.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at 
St. Jane de Chantal Catholic Church, Abita Springs, LA. on Monday, June 4, 2012 
at 11:00am. 
Visitation at the church from 10:00am until Mass time. 
Interment immediately following at Abita Springs Cemetery.
