John Joseph Alphonso, passed away on June 4, 2012 at his home in Chalmette, LA 
at the age of 64. 

Loving husband of Earlyn deBouchel for 45 years. 
Father of Lisa Alphonso and the late Michael J. Alphonso. 
Son of the late John Alphonso and Julia Bouffine Alphonso. 
Brother of Rose Pampas (Bob), Alfred Alphonso (Ruth), Frank Alphonso (Margaret 
"T") and the late Doris Trosclair. 
Grandfather to Gabby Alphonso, Sammy Ybarzabal, D.J. Sylvia, Elizabeth Alphonso 
and Jolie Levron. 
Great Grandfather to Mckayla Alphonso and uncle to many nieces and nephews. 

A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and an avid Saints 
Fan. Johnny will be sadly missed by all who knew him, especially his canine 
companion for 12 years, "Sugar Bear." 

A Vietnam Veteran and a former employee of BFT.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church, Chalmette, on 
Monday, June 18 at 1:00 pm. 
Visitation at the church from 12:00 noon until mass time.
