EARLINE CALKINS ARENDER, 87, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 
2012.

Beloved Wife of the late Barney C. Arender;
Mother of Jim Arender, Eric Arender, and the late Barney Arender;
Daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Calkins;
Sister of Lillian Hahn, and the late Gay Calkins, Earl Calkins, Glenn Calkins, 
Harold Calkins, Wilbert Calkins, Sylvia Maxwell;
Also survived by four grandchildren: Erica Murla, Peter Arender, Rachelle 
VanPelt, and Brandon Houston; and seven great-grandchildren.

A native of New Orleans, and a resident of Slidell since 1963, she was a member 
of National Association of Retired Federal Employees, and was active with the 
Alzheimers Foundation.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. 
Funeral Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST 
(IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 11:00 A.M.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 9:00am.

Burial will be in Biloxi National Cemetery at 1:30pm. 
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
