(August 11, 1967 - June 22, 2012) John Leo Constantino, Jr. (Johnny) passed away Friday, June 22, 2012 at age 44. The beloved husband of Kirsten Schunack Constantino since 1988. He was the son of Deborah Leinwar Constantino and the late John L. Constantino, Sr., and grandson of Lexine Leinwar Scherer, and the late Milton Leinwar, Rose Mary and Leo Constantino. He was born in Metairie, LA on August 11, 1967 and was a long time resident of Covington before moving to Ponchatoula 8 years ago. Johnny is survived by his daughter, Megan Elizabeth Constantino; his son, John Anthony “Tony” Constantino; sister, Gina C. Wilson (Daniel); brother, Nicholas Anthony Constantino, mother-in-law, Joan Carnrite; sister-in-law, Heidi McCarl (Scott), nephews and a niece, Caleb, Caden, Caley, Chandler, Colin and Ryan. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and his best friend, Ron Ulfers, Jr. Johnny performed his duties of a Godfather with honor, to numerous Godchildren. Johnny had a tremendous love for Family and Friends, and was loved by all that knew him, as his smile was contagious and could light up the darkest room. He had a passion for his Italian Heritage and his community. He was a member of The Jolly Jeffs, and the Italian American Marching Club. Johnny was a caring, loyal employer as owner of Clearwater Custom Pools, since 1995. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 25, 2012 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Visitation is scheduled Sunday, June 24, 2012 from 5-8:00 PM and Monday, June 25, 2012 at 9:00 AM. Following his funeral mass, Johnny will be cremated with interment to take place privately and at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society. ===================
