James Baldridge Corey of New Orleans, LA passed away on June 29 at 9:10 pm. 

He was born on November 19, 1929, in Bristow, Oklahoma to Kate Broad Baldridge 
Corey and Hiram Ralph Corey. 
He was a member of Bristow Presbyterian Church and graduated from Bristow High 
School. 
He attended OK A&M College where he was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity, 
and then OU where he earned his Master's degree. 
Corey was an Oil&Gas Landman for Shell Oil Company, and subsequently went 
independent. 

Corey married Barbara Blakely on August 29, 1953. They were parents to 
Katherine Janet and Caroline Blakely Corey. They divorced in 1975. He then 
married Donna Doyle, now deceased.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Ralph Corey, and his 
sister, Katherine Ann Corey McCaskell Beaubien. 

He is survived by his daughters, Katherine, of Columbia, MO and Caroline, Baton 
Rouge, LA and four grandchildren. He will be missed by friends and companions 
in New Orleans, Jackson, Mississippi, and Bristow, Oklahoma. 

Memorial Services will be held in Bristow, Oklahoma.
