MARTIN

Samuel K. Martin, 67, of Pearl River died Thursday, June 21, 2012.

Martin was born on April 26, 1945, in Gulfport, Miss., to the late Ida Mae 
Ladnier Martin and Homer Martin.

He was a Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church parishioner in Pearl River, 
where he lived for 40 years.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara Martin; his daughters and son-
in-law, Michelle and Terry Walker and Melissa McQueen; and grandchildren, Derek 
and Colby McQueen and Brooke and Shelby Walker. He also is survived by his 
siblings, Homer C. and Jerry D. Martin, Martha Mae Leuenberger and Virginia 
Rose Webb.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 25 at 3 p.m. with visitation beginning at 
1 p.m. at the chapel of D.T. Williams Funeral Home, 67525 Louisiana Highway 41, 
Pearl River. 
Interment will follow at Evans Creek Cemetery, Pearl River. 
Deacon Francis Drake and Brother Allen Smith will officiate.
