Milton “Poppy” Paul Mayeaux Jr., 83, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2012. 

The New Orleans native who was a recent Mandeville resident was the beloved and 
loving husband of 43 years to the love of his life, the late Linda Pareti 
Mayeaux of Lakeview. 

He leaves to cherish his memories his seven children, Christine M. Apple 
(Michael), Rene’ M. Mosley-Smith (Glenn), Juli M. Johnson (Ross), Leslie A. 
Mayeaux, Laura M. Treadway (Gary), Mark M. Mayeaux, and Laurance P. Mayeaux 
(Melissa); his grandchildren, Michelle M. Foulke, Kimberly A. Hensen, Ashley E. 
Johnson, Jacob A. Treadway, Morgan M. Mayeaux, Mia M. Mayeaux, Lauran E. 
Mayeaux, Gabrielle G. Treadway, Juliet R. Treadway, Antonio (Tony) D. Mayeaux; 
a step-grandson, Christian J. Treadway; seven great-grandchildren and one great 
great-grandson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Milton P. Mayeaux Sr. 
of Avoyelle and Emma Bankston Mayeaux of Franklin, Miss.

Family, friends and all who knew him will sadly miss “Our Poppy.” His quick and 
witty sense of humor and his genuine love of life will forever be remembered.

A private memorial will be held June 16.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers a donation in the memory of Paul Mayeaux
