Laurie Curet Saucier, 74, died at her home on Saturday, June 23, 2012.

She was the daughter of the late George and Louise Curet of Kiln, Miss.

She was an Alpha Delta Kappa and Delta Kappa Gamma Teaching sororities longtime 
member and a Pearl River-area elementary teacher for 35 years.

She is survived by her husband, Al Saucier; three children and their spouses, 
Al and Dena Saucier Jr., Dr. Rick and Gay Saucier and Cheryl and Todd Dean; a 
brother, Charles Curet, and seven grandchildren, Wade, Nicole, Cameron, Ashley, 
Spencer, Micah and Kathryn. She was preceded in death by her parents, George 
and Louise Curet; two sisters, Gay Smith and Carolyn Pfister, and a brother, 
George Curet Jr.

Visitation will be June 28 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home, 67525 
Louisiana Highway 41, Pearl River. On June 29, a funeral Mass will be at 10 
a.m., with visitation, starting at 9 a.m., at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic 
Church, 66192 St. Mary Drive, Pearl River. 

Interment will follow at Hickory Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Pearl River.
