WALTER RAY “SONNY” SIMS, age 91years, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Saturday, 
June 9, 2012 of cancer. 

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Philippine “Tina” Walters Sims. 
Father of Ottis Ray Sims, S. Glen Sims(Kelly), Dennis Sims(Robin), and Pamela 
Brown(Daniel). 
Grandfather of Brandon Cooper(Shannon), Evan Cooper, Adam Sims, Sarah Sims, 
Catherine Sims, Emily S. Fontenot, John “Josh” R. Randall,III (Courtney), Korry 
Stafford and Alison Randall. 
Great grandfather of Lily Fontenot, Keelyn Hobson and Briella Randall.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 
57210 Allen Road, Slidell, La., 70461, on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. 
Donations to the Lamb of God Lutheran Chuch Dream Fund, preferred, in lieu of 
flowers.
