Laura Elise Lea Smith passed away Monday, June 11, 2012. 

She was born October 2, 1958 in New Orleans to Tommie Joyce Herring Lea and the 
late Harry Donald Lea, Sr.

The beloved wife of Eugene M. Smith, she is survived by her daughter, Mollie 
Smith Koller; one son, Nicholas E. Smith; three step sons: Shane M., Brett J. 
and Ben J. Smith; two sisters, Faith Dawn Heddings and Joy Lea McMichael; her 
brother, H. Donald Lea, Jr. and seven grandchildren: Victoria Eve Goin, 
Gabrielle Madison, Alexandra Lea and Jackson Thomas Smith, Julienna Elise, 
Adelin Elizabeth and Catalina Faith Koller.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service 
at 12:00 Noon on Friday, June 15, 2012 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 
21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.

Visiting hours will begin Friday at 10:00 AM.

Interment at the St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery will immediately follow the service.
