CAROL “CAROLEE” STEGER, of Slidell, LA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, 
June 23, 2012 at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in Jefferson, LA.

Beloved wife of Norman A. Steger for the past 57 years.
Loving mother of Dana Steger DeMond (Troy), and Susan Fay Steger Harvey (David)
Daughter of the late Carl V. and Velma Pearman Rickard.
Sister of William G. Rickard (Doris Jean), and Dorothy Ann Whittington (the 
late Bob).
Also survived by 6 grandchildren; Matt McBride, Ashley McCarthy, Jake Zenisek, 
Jennifer Harvey, Josh DeMond, Emily DeMond, and also many others who knew her 
as Mema.

Age 77years; a native of St. Louis, MO, and a resident of Slidell since 1987. 
Mrs. Steger was a 1953 graduate of Ritenour High School in Overland, MO. She 
was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Slidell, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial service at 
Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 360 Robert Blvd., Slidell, LA 70458 on 
Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 11:00am.
