THOMPSON

Mark Irven Thompson, 47, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Ochsner of 
Jefferson Hospital.

He is survived by longtime partner, Michael Charns; stepchildren, Nicole Charns 
and Richard Charns; a brother, John Thompson; and dogs Asta, Maxwell and 
Albert.

He was the respiratory services director in New Orleans, cardiopulmonary 
program manager in Covington, clinical respiratory therapy instructor in, 
Largo, Md.; advanced practitioner supervisor in Washington D.C., and an 
American Association for Respiratory Care member.

Visitation will be tonight from 7-9 at Williams Funeral Home, 67525 Louisiana 
Highway 41, Pearl River. Graveside service will be Thursday, June 21, at 11 
a.m. at Hickory Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Pearl River.

In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to the American Heart Association.
