RITA ANN SALADINO TOWLER, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 20, 2012 in 
Slidell, LA. 

She was born in 1935, Marrero, LA to the late Dominick Saladino and Laura 
Galiano Saladino.

Beloved wife of James “Jim” Towler for 48 years.
Mother of Keith Towler and wife Lisa, Laura T. Gereighty and Lois T. Steele and 
husband Emmett.
Grandmother of Jessica Ann Gereighty. Great grandmother of Cailey Ann Williams. 
Sister of Philip Saladino and wife Lillian and Dominick Saladino and wife 
Dorothy and the late Joseph Saladino, Rosalie S. Palmisano, Vincent Saladino, 
Mary Joyce S. Smallwood and Joann S. Stansbury. Sister-in-law of Lawrence 
Stansbury, George Smallwood and Perry Towler. Also survived by numerous nieces 
and nephews.

Age 76 years, Mrs. Towler was a resident of the Slidell area for 30 years and 
most recently Carriere, MS. She was retired for a number of years, formerly a 
long time employee of South Central Bell and later self-employed as a caterer 
in Slidell, Co-owner (along with her husband) of The Regency banquet and 
reception facility and Fancies Unlimited Catering in Slidell. During 2003, she 
worked alongside her husband in the organization Save Our Slidell Memorial 
Hospital. She was a former member of The Sons of Italy, Slidell Lodge, and a 
member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Slidell.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), 
Slidell, LA on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 12:00pm. 
Visitation will be from 10:00am until 12:00pm. 
Interment will be held privately at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Slidell 
Memorial Hospital Cancer Center Foundation, 1001 Gause Blvd., Slidell, LA 
70458.
