HOWARD J. WILLIS SR, 86, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2012, 
at Slidell Memorial Hospital.

Beloved Husband of the late Beryl Bradley Willis by first marriage, and 
Rosemary Quinn Willis;

Father of Evelyn W. Bullock, Harry E. Willis III (wife Merle), Howard Jerry 
“Junebug” Willis Jr., and Ray R. Willis (wife Sandra); step father of Stephen 
Paul Jones (wife Michelle) and Alton Bradley Jones (wife Candace);

Son of the late Harry E. and Adah Willis of Bogalusa;

Brother of the late Harry E. Willis Jr., Gwendolyn Baer, Frederick Webber 
Willis, Gladys Broadwater, Ray Raymond Willis, and Ruth Mizell.

Also survived by grandchildren: Melissa B. Gooch, Joe Douglas Bullock II, 
Patrick Shane Willis, Parrish Anthony Willis, Ian Wayne Willis, Boudreaux 
Boyer, Jason Williams, Mitsy Mocklin, five step-grandchildren, eighteen great-
grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death 
by one grandchild Robyn Williams.

A native of Bogalusa, Louisiana, and a resident of Slidell for over 40 years. 
He was the manager of Royal Eden Apts in Slidell since 1978, and the former 
owner of Willis Sand and Gravel Company Inc in Enon, Louisiana.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. 
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2012, from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at 
Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, in Slidell. Funeral Services will 
be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at 12:00 noon, at the Christ Episcopal 
Church, 1534 Seventh Street, in Slidell. Friends may visit at the church on 
Wednesday beginning at 11:00am. Rev. Harry Jenkins and Rev. Frederick W. Willis 
Jr., officiating. 
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
