Lucena Cecile Naquin Boquet, age 95 years, a Terrebonne Parish, LA native, a 
resident of Folsom, LA for some 26 years, and a resident of Covington, LA for 
the past 10 months, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2012.

Beloved mother of Carroll Naquin of New Orleans, Merrill “Butch” Naquin and his 
wife Carol of Folsom, Barry Naquin and his wife Hope of Jefferson and Mercedes 
“Dee” Chisholm and her husband Rodney of Folsom; grandmother of Natalie Schurr, 
Roxy Schuler, Merrill Naquin, Jr., Lauran Naquin, Blaine Naquin, Barney 
Falgout, Jr., Michelle Wollfarth, Bridget Forsyth and Brett Naquin; and sister 
to Percy Naquin and his wife, Inez of Folsom, Rose Dupre of Marrero and Leona 
Cheramie of Galliano. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, 4 great-
great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Louris Naquin; her second 
husband, Lloyd Boquet; her father, Sidney Paul Naquin, her mother, Agnes Levron 
Naquin; a son, Donald Naquin; a grandson, Troy Naquin; five brothers, Pierre, 
Maurice, Paul, Camille and Norman Naquin; three sisters, Cecile Naquin, Agnes 
Bergeron and Beulah Naquin.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service 
at the Chapel of E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., 
Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 1:00 PM.

Visitation on Saturday will be from 11:00 AM until service time.

Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
