Geraldine Burnett, 69, of Slidell died Tuesday, July 3, 2012. She was the 
daughter of the late Lucille Bradley Vaughn and William Porter Burnett.

She is survived by her eight children: daughters, Lisa, Rosolin, Pamela, 
Jimoninell, Clara, Shawn, Monique, and son Jamie Burnett; sisters, Minerva Jean 
Dawson, Jennifer Jolly and Ivory Lynn Kaigler Hill, and brothers, English and 
Timmie Burnett.

The singer and songwriter performed with Eddie Lang and the Peacocks for many 
years.

A celebration of life service will be July 14 at 11 a.m. at the Upper Room 
Bible Church, 801 Spartan Drive, Slidell.
