Beloved Wife of Ramon J. Cano; Mother of Lilliana E. Behny (husband John); Raymond J. Cano (wife Erin), Carlos Cano (wife Susan), Maria C. Meringer (husband Chris), Aileen C. Ferrell (husband Gregg), Carolyn C. Potate (husband Steve), Cynthia C. Sanders (husband John); Daughter of the late Alberto and Concepcion Gaitan, both of Guatemala City, Guatemala; Sister of Alberto Gaitan and the late Rodolfo Gaitan; Also survived by ten grandchildren: Aileen Behny, Robert Behny, Ryan Cano, Rebecca Cano, Francesca Ferrell, Christina Ferrell, Vincent Potate, Isabella Potate, Quinton Sanders, and Jocelyn Sanders; and cousins and other relatives. A native of Guatemala City, Guatemala, a resident of New Orleans since 1959, Zoila, a devoted Catholic, was a parishioner of St. Gabriel the Archangel, until moving to Slidell in 2005, where she became a parishioner of St. Luke the Evangelist. She was devoted to her family, loved by all who knew her, and will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 910 Crossgates Blvd, in Slidell, on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at 11:00am. Friends may visit at the church on Tuesday beginning at 10:00am. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital ===================
