The Slidell resident who was born in Milton, Fla., was a December 2011 University of Louisiana at Lafayette graduate. He completed four years as an aerospace maintenance journeyman in the U.S. Air Force. His last station was Missouri’s Whiteman Air Force Base, where he was fondly known as “gator boy” after showing pictures of his captured alligators in Slidell. He is survived by his parents, Raymond E. Dansby and Carolyn Y. Jacobs; sister and brother-in-law, Jessica and Nicholas Ballay; half sister, Cynthia Edvenson, and maternal grandparents, Thomas and Sumiko Jacobs. Services were July 19 at Church of Faith, 61305 Airport Road, Slidell. Military burial followed in Port Hudson National Cemetery in Zachary. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations preferred to Raymond Dansby, care of The Church of Faith, P.O. Box 6190, Slidell, La. ===================
