She was 87. "Bunnie" as she was known to her friends and loved ones, was born the daughter of the late J. William Wines and the late Theora Thomas Wines Committe on October 28th, 1924 in Wheeling, WV. She was a long-time resident of Bay St. Louis, MS, where she was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Pines. Later in life she and her husband, Bobby, retired to Covington, LA. Mrs. Desmarais was predeceased by her beloved husband, the late Robert William Marks, who died in 1997, and by her eldest sons, the late Louis Eugene Alexander and Kirk Phillip Alexander. She is survived by her sister, Lynn Howell of Florida; three children: Brian Scott Alexander of Rhode Island, Lisa Lynn Alexander of Massachusetts, Eric Todd Marks of California and 10 grandchildren. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a graveside service at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 9, 2012 at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, 2280 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433. ===================
