DOMEC

John D. Domec Jr., 86, died Thursday, July 19, 2012.

The New Orleans native was a Covington resident for the past 35 years.

He was in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WW II before beginning a 30- year 
career as a producer/director for television station WDSU in New Orleans. After 
moving to Covington, he became a real estate broker and was a St. Tammany Board 
of Realtors former president.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Kastler Domec; parents, Thelma 
and John Domec, and brother, Wallace Domec. 

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Hunt Domec; a son, Jon A. Domec; a 
daughter, Allison Lee Wood; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be July 21 at noon, with visitation starting at 11 a.m., 
at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington. 
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions requested to the Alzheimers 
Association, www.alzheimers.org, or Hospice of St. Tammany.
