A native of Jefferson Davis County, Miss., Kirkley was the daughter of Wilburn Lee Dyess and Hazel Ward Dyess. For 14 years, she lived in Slidell, where she volunteered for civic clubs. Upon returning to Mississippi, the Carson resident worked for KLH Industries for 14 years, retiring as supervisor, and was a Dublin Baptist Church member. She is survived by her husband, Ray Kirkley of Carson, Miss.; daughters, Gail Robbins of Oakvale, Miss., Lynn Myers of Prentiss, Miss., and Diane Dixon of Carson, Miss.; sister, Betty Robbins of Oakvale, Miss., nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Memorial services will be July 8 at 2 p.m. at Dublin Baptist Church in Prentiss, Miss. ===================
