Ella Mae Miller passed from this life and into the arms of Jesus on Monday, 
July 2, 2012 at 5:45am at West Jefferson Hospital at the age of 88. 

A native of New Orleans and lived in Marrero for 41 years. 

Ella Mae was a nurses aide at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Marrero. 

Loving mother of August Joseph Miller (Charlotte), Michael Miller (Anna), 
Gerald Miller, Clayton Miller (Charlotte Ann), Rodney Miller (Nina), Hazel 
Zelaya (Carlos), Kathleen Walker (the late Billy Walker), Cynthia Robert (Doug) 
and the late Karen-Ann Miller. Sister of Frank Smith, Louie Smith and the late 
Walter, Danny, Lawrence and Bill Smith. She was survived by 15 Grandchildren 
and 22 Great Grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 
Visitation Of Our Lady Catholic Church, 3500 Ames Blvd., Marrero on Friday, 
July 6, 2012 at 12:00 Noon. Wake hours at the church on Friday from 10:30am 
until Mass time. 
Interment immediately following at Westlawn Memorial Park, Whitney Ave., 
Gretna.
