CHIEF WARRANT OFFICER 4 GARRY MICHAEL ORTNER,U.S.C.G.,Retired, age 65 years, of 
Slidell, LA on Tuesday, July 31, 2012.

Beloved Husband of Toni Baur Ortner.
Father of Michelle Ortner and Michael Ortner(Jessica).
Brother of Madelyn Crosby and Donna Ohara.

He was a past Head Soccer Coach at Jesuit High School from 1994 to 2002 before 
handing over the reins to current head coach Hubie Collins. In his nine years 
as head coach, Garry guided the Jays to seven district championships and three 
state titles including his 1999 team that went undefeated and untied. Also, 
four of Garry’s teams were state runners-up.

He was also a former President of Slidell Youth Soccer Club, and served on the 
Board of Directors at the Louisiana Soccer Association. He is a member of the 
Louisiana High School Soccer Coaches Hall of Fame.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial
Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,
1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 1:00 P.M.

Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation on Saturday after 11:00 A.M. until funeral time.

Donations to the Garry Ortner Charity Fund, at any State Investors Bank, 
preferred, in lieu of flowers.
