George H. Tyler Jr., 79, of Picayune, Miss., died Sunday, July 29, 2012.

The U.S. Army veteran retired from South Central Bell and was a Westlawn 
Baptist Church member.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Lorie Tyler; his 
daughters, Yvette and Terri Tyler; grandchildren, Courtney Tyler Sanderson, 
Bobbi Easterling, Shelbey Arron and Abigail Tyler. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nan Crawford and George H. Tyler Sr.; 
brothers, John and Joe, and a sister, Maxine.

Funeral services will be Aug. 5 at 3 p.m., with visitation starting at 2 p.m., 
at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Brother James Reeves officiating. 
Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
