Donald Joseph Buendia passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2012.

Beloved husband of 45 years to Margaret Rose Meraux Buendia. He is also survived 
by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph 
M. Buendia; his mother, Catherine Anderson Buendia; and two brothers, Joseph and 
Brian Buendia.

Age 70 years, he was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Covington, LA 
for the past 12 years. He was a graduate of St. Stanislaus School in Bay St. 
Louis, MS and attended Loyola University in New Orleans, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at the 
Chapel of E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 
70433 on Monday, August 20, 2012 at 3:00 PM.

Visitation on Monday will be from 1:30 to 3:00 PM.
