Alfred E. Clute, Sr. passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012. He was born November 
22, 1928 in Enning, SD to the late Bert, Sr. and Elizabeth Staples Clute. He 
was a long time resident of Gulfport, MS before moving to his present home in 
Madisonville, LA.

The beloved husband of Luzviminda H. Clute, he is survived by three daughters: 
Tammi C. Ladner, Melanie Gale Lineberger and Crystal C. Harding; one son, 
Alfred E. Clute, Jr.; two brothers, Bert “Bud” and F.D. “Dean” Clute; 9 
grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five 
sisters and three brothers.

A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Clute was a member of the American Legion 
and a former member of Gulfport Church of God.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service 
at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Bedico Baptist Church, 28156 
Highway 22, Ponchatoula, LA 70454.

Visiting hours at the church will begin Thursday at 9:00 AM.

Interment at the Bedico Community Cemetery will immediately follow the service.

E.J. Fielding Funeral Home of Covington, LA has been entrusted with 
arrangements.
