Beloved Wife of the late Jacob A. Dabdoub. Mother of Dr. Paul O. Dabdoub(Lorrie Shell), Jackie Dabdoub Marcussen(Charley) and Dr. Billy Dabdoub(Teresa Pearson) Sister of the late Harris, Fred McNab, Iris Gabourel and June Tyner. Grandmother of Desiree H., John Kelly, Paul J. Dabdoub, Angela Celeste Marcussen Hart, Kristy D.Gama, Katie T., Brett W. Dabdoub, the late Damon W. Marcussen, great grandmother of Victoria, Jadyn, Shiloh, Baileigh, Nikolas Dabdoub, Amber, Alexis, Will and Beau Hart. A native of Utila, Honduras and a resident of Slidell since 1956. She was retired from Sears after 30 years where she was manager of the Catalog, Customer Service and Credit Departments and was one of the first women to have a managerial position with Sears Roebuck & Co. She started as a secretary at Sears on Baronne Street in New Orleans and then went to work in Customer Service in the Gentilly Store. She became the Catalog Store Manager at the Sears Store in Slidell and when it opened at the Northshore Mall, she became the 3C’s Manager until she retired. To this day she is fondly remembered at Sears. She loved to cook for the family and in her later years she and her husband, Jack, could be found at the Casino or ballroom dancing. She is much loved and will be remembered as a wonderful, loving, caring and nurturing mother, grandmother and friend. The Bible says,”Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His Saints,” and that is what she was. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 12:00 O’clock Noon. Dr. Paul O. Dabdoub, officiating. Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY. Visitation on Friday after 10:00 A.M. until funeral time. ===================
