BARBARA DOWNIE, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2012 in 
Destin, FL.

Beloved wife of Robert E. Downie for the past 43 years.
Mother of James R. Downie and wife Rachel L. Downie.
Also survived by her granddaughter, Sadie Y. Downie and her cousin, Janet Reed.

Age 63 years; a native of Bristol, England and a resident of Slidell since 
1981. She was a member of the Daughters of the British Empire.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial service at 
HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, 
LA on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.
