Amy "Nanny" Boehler Foster, 82, died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012.

The New Orleans native and longtime Gentilly resident was displaced by 
Hurricane Katrina and lived in Mandeville. She was a longtime employee of 
Luckmore Finance Corporation in New Orleans.

She was the wife of the late Edwin Foster and sister of the late June Boehler 
Merida, Floyd Strain and Charles Boehler. She shared with her late sister the 
love and devotion of her daughter, June Foley, and spouse, Christopher Foley, 
and their children, Kaitlin Mary and Lauren Amy Foley, and with Mary Vigueira, 
and her spouse, Edward Vigueira, and their children, Gabrielle Mary and Adam 
Edward Vigueira.

The celebratory funeral service will be Aug. 23 at 1 p.m., with visitation 
starting at 11 a.m., at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington. 

Interment will follow in Abita Springs Cemetery, Abita Springs.
