David P. Harvel went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at the age 
of 64.

Beloved husband of Brenda Harvel. Son of the late Laura Wyble Harvel and Arthur 
Reynolds Harvel. Son-in-law of Pablo and Virginia Ramirez. Brother of James 
Harvel, Lois H. Guillory, Leslie Harvel and Betty H. Smith. Also survived by 
numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a native and lifelong resident of St. Tammany Parish where he had his 
own trucking business and has worked the last three years with STRANCO Inc. Mr. 
Harvel loved life and the Lord and will be greatly missed by his family and 
friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on 
Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Saturday from 9:00 
AM until service time.

Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
