Robert “Bob” W. Jeffries passed away on Monday, August 6, 2012.

Beloved husband of Patricia Jeffries. Father of Steven Jeffries (Alise), Susan 
Nye (Rick) and David Jeffries. Step-father of Jeff Songer (Deedy) and Amy 
Songer Murphy (Shawn). Grandfather of Robert Jeffries, Christopher and Brandon 
Nye, Joshua, Jordan and Katelyn Jeffries, Jeffrey and Jason Songer and Matthew 
Story. Brother of Earl Jeffries (Bernadine). Also survived by 2 great-
grandchildren.

Age 76 years. A native of New Orleans and a resident of Covington, LA for the 
past 6 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service 
from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 
on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Visitation from 9:00 AM until service 
time. Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
