GEORGE R. MCDOUGAL, of Mandeville, LA, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2012 
at his home.

Beloved husband of the late Myrtle B. McDougal.
Father of Michael B. McDougal and wife Jeanne, Patrick W. McDougal and wife 
Patricia and the late Linda M. Perigoni and husband Jeff.
Son of the late George R. McDougal and Eunice Ball McDougal.
Brother of Sandra Cooper and the late James McDougal.
Also survived by 8 grandchildren; Donna Burnett, Cherie Herchenhahn, Scott 
McDougal, Christy Laine, Shawn McLaughlin, Shannon Crouchet and Shea Tessitore 
and the late Jerry McDougal; 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great 
grandchild.

Age 89 years; a native of Lubbock, TX and a longtime resident of Arabi and 
Pearl River, LA. 
Mr. McDougal served his country in the US Marine Corps during WWII and the 
Korean Conflict. 
He retired from Freeport McMoRan, Inc. as an electrician. 

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Nina and Tommy Hoke 
and Lakeshore Hospice for the care and love they provided.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at 
HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, 
LA on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 1:30pm. 
Visitation will be from 11:30am until 1:30pm. 

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
