Donell Ramon Mitchell died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012.

The New Orleans resident was a waiter at Southern Yacht Club who loved to be 
around his family.

He was the first son of Sharon Thompson and Dennis Mitchell and brother of Dara 
Mitchell, La’Kiesha Mitchell and Wanda Mitchell-Sims. He also is survived by 
five children, Donell Mitchell Jr., La’Jay, Tashay and Shandell Taylor and 
Demari Wallace.

Funeral services will be Aug. 18 at 11 a.m. at Doyle’s Funeral Home, 2430 
Fourth St., Slidell.
